I'm basing my assumptions off what I've seen on online forums. I use to lurk UKmix, Popjustice, Atrl back during Rated R and a lot of Rihanna fans loved Rated R and some of the fans she gained with GGGB felt like she dropped the whole pop thing.

A lot of them wanted her to return to her poppier roots and to have success like before that era. Ofcourse I can't speak for everyone but that's what I saw back when I lurked on pop forums.

Can we discuss how amazing this would be if it was Rihanna.

Let me address some concerns!

1.) Eloise, when I said Katy Perry better win I didn't realize Rihanna was nominated in the same category until seconds later! Rihannas been on break so I didn't realize she was up for female of the year.

2.) The mariah v . Rihanna thread: Did you guys even watch the mariah performance?? She can't sing anymore. I was just showing people that Rihanna is the better singer now.

I don't understand why some of you are so scared to see Rih "dragged". Its not that serious. Were all just having fun! Also I'm definitely a stan. Been stanning since GGGB and honestly I'm probably more obsessed with her than anyone here considering she's all I listen to lately.

You guys think its just a forum but I am feeling kind of rejected by my own base and it actually makes me a little sad.

Rih and her team should start leaking information about the album (direction/sound/producers/collaborations). It would build up some good anticipation for the album. I dnt want this album to be released in a vacuum with all the information coming within the span of a few weeks.

Building anticipation isn't necessarily a good thing and I don't want to know whose actually working on the album.

Also the album is coming in like October, it's way to early.

Let's be real, we'd still be by her side even if she does.

Wait I thought it was coming in August?? And in order for her R8 to be an event, she's gonna have to build up some hype. She doesn't have to go out and tslk about how amazing it is but by leaking info little by little, people will get excited for new music.
