Ok, ok. Maybe not the future of pop music, but she does have a brilliant voice.

Look, out of boredom I'm totally commenting! Which I don't get as a requirement to vote.
Rilo Kiley, performing It's a Hit - Like Rilo but not so much on this song. Weirdly, it's Jenny Lewis that takes me out. Had...um...the guy? sang it, it might fit more with the rawness they were apparently going for.
Muse, performing Time is Running Out - I placed this song at max points for one major reason: the hook. is. ****ing. sick. Love the screaming, love the guitar, love Muse.
Chris Brown, performing Yo (Excuse Me Miss) - I like on Chris song. And this? Ain't it. Grow. A. Pair.
AFI, performing Girl's Not Grey - I remember liking this song and then totally forgetting their existence until they won the MTV2 Award or Best Rock Video at the What Was In 2006 The worst VMAS Ever But Has Been Lapped By 2007 And 2008 in which they wore horrid horrid multiolored moose-knuckes for crotches pants. Love the lyrics.
Amerie, performing Gotta Work - Like Nick said, very "One Thing" part 2 and nowhere near my liked tracks from "Because I Love It" but it shows how frantic her vocals are and how she does strive to not be a Beyonceclone.
Janet Jackson, performing Son of a Gun (I Betcha Think This Song is About You) - Shut the hell up, I lurve this retarded song. Carly's lyrics make no sense in it but the vindictiveness and utter stupidity makes it fun!
Madonna, performing She's Not Me - Good song. Way to damn long. Really, why must this be 6 minutes when it would only take 4 Minutes to make a point?
Garbage, performing Androgyny - Is it overproduced? Yes. Is it too glossy? Yes. Is that the point? Duh. beautifulgarbage was meant, I think, to be a slick modern take on Garbage as a whole and while it could be more raw and unnerving, that fact that's it's shiny and sparkley (and with a killer base-line) makes it sorta scary.
Leona Lewis, performing Misses Glass - It's called words, try saying them.
Pink, performing U + Ur Hand - Yes, Kelly rip-off. But it's fun for her to tell men to just jerk one out without using superheroes for the metaphor, souljaboytell'em...
The New ****ographers, performing Letter From an Occupant - Yeah, the music does not match the look in the photo of the band. Hate her vocals but like the music. (Yes Bart, I'll go step in front of a bus)

Bart, I think I won't comment this week. That's my way of protesting against you.

Ryan don't kill me! From my (admittedly) limited experience with Muse, I'm not that big of a fan? They seem to be another British band with a lead singer who sounds a lot like Thom Yorke. So, I'm surprised to say that I really like this song? Again, the lead singer actually is aping Mr. Yorke, so I cannot love it, but it has a nice groove, and I love the juxtaposition between the harder, funkier verses and the anthemic chorus. Good job sirs!

Well, it's nice to see you like a song of theirs, but the Thom Yorke and Radiohead comparisons stopped, for the most part, when Black Holes and Revelations came out. They created their own sound with that album, their own identity.
I'll definitely agree with you that Showbiz and, in some ways, Origin of Symmetry are like Radiohead, and Matt does sound like Thom Yorke from time to time, ESPECIALLY on Showbiz, but the band has evolved since that point, and, especially when compared to the Showbiz days, are a much different band.
I LOVE the Muse love this week. Fabulous.

It's a Hit" - I love the lyrics. I heard a song from them before, and I guess it wasn't very memorable, because I don't remember it. Anyway, great song.
"Time is Running Out" - It was alright, not the best from what I've heard from them, but still it was nice.
"Yo (Excuse Me Miss)" - I have a love-hate relationship with this song, and I'm sure it's the fact that he sounds like a 10 year old. Right now I love it and this is the best single from his first album IMO.
"Girl's Not Grey" - I like AFI, but not this song so much.
"Gotta Work" - It's sad how underrated this song is, I'm sure that if someone else was singing it would've been a hit. The industry simply hates her.
"Son of a Gun" - LMAO, catchy. Damita Jo <3
"She's Not Me" - One of my favorites from Hard Candy, but I agree it doesn't need to be so damn long.
"Androgyny" - I was addicted with this song when it got released, Shirley's voice is just beautiful.
"Misses Glass" - Not one of the four songs I would've picked for her, and we all know she is the next Mariah/Whitney, stop hating
"U + Ur Hand" - This song is incredibly catchy and the message is there. Enough said.
"Letter From an Occupant" - Never heard of them before. I'm not impressed, but it wasn't so bad.

Which lead me to putting 4 of their songs in my chart's top 10 from 2006-2007 from the Black Holes album (Starlight, Supermassive Black Hole, Map Of The Problematique all went #1, Knights went #6)

Rilo Kiley - It's a good song, but not that special
Muse - Awesome, maybe their best song to date
Chris Brown - It's really funny how people in ATRL hated him at first, and now they love him and choose of one his first singles, AWWWW it's a good song anyway
AFI - Thanks GOD ATRLers didn't choose a song from their last album, that's all I have to say
Amerie - eeehhhhh, whatever... she has better songs
Janet Jackson - hmmmmm, not her best song, but it could have been worse
Madonna - REALLY????? i'm so disappointed with this choice, if you think this is her best song from this decade, you have problems
Garbage - Not a bad choice, great song
Leona Lewis - Considering it's not a boring song, it's a good choice
Pink - I think she has better songs, but at least it was a decent choice, not like Madonna's
The New ****ographers - It's ok, but this genre of music doesn't fit on annoying vocals like those, sorry
