In an interview with the Belfast Telegraph Julianne Moore is full of praise for her co-star Jennifer Lawrence and reveals pressure from her kids convinced her to take the role of President Coin:

Initially she wasn’t sure about taking on the role, but after much pressure from her children, Caleb and Liv, she decided to go for it.
“I don’t know if I would have done it otherwise. I’m very pleased I did, though,” she smiled to British newspaper The Telegraph.
“Apart from anything else, I got to work with Jennifer Lawrence. She’s a lovely girl. I know people often say things like that in interviews, but she really is. While she may be young, she doesn’t feel at all precocious. Instead, she’s smart and funny and terrific at connecting with people. She just blew me away.”
