I've listened to the Dan Heath remix of West Coast 3 times today and thank God she found Dan Auerbach and decided to record Ultraviolence with him. This orchestal version does not suit the song at all. It is completly off.
I hope the reasoning behind such a long wait for the iTunes pre-order is that they are deciding on which song to go up as an instant download with a preorder
Well, there aren't too many songs to chose from.
11 on the standard (for the pre-order deluxe tracks are not given away for free) and we already have WC and the last song is a cover which also seems unlikely. So that leaves us to 9 tracks.
They're just trying to make the most of the $100 pre-orders, but not looking at the big picture and losing out on a substantial number of basic pre-orders.
