I've been to so many meet & greets and no one does it like Katy Perry. Her VIP experience for the California Dreams Tour was insane but what really makes it a great experience is how welcome she makes you feel.

She literally talked to me for like 5 minutes and was really genuine. The sweet, bubbly girl you see in interviews & on TV is the same exact same as she is in person. Not to mention, she put some money & thought into her VIP rooms. Instead of just having a backdrop, we had a whole room decorated & with a candy buffet while we waited in line to meet her. (Below is my picture.. I completely forgot I had grabbed a cupcake from the table and was holding it in my picture.)


I won't say who, but it's really dissapointing going to some M&Gs and then finding out some of your faves aren't as sweet & about the fans as they claim to be in front of the cameras. Thankfully Katy isn't like that!

Came to say this but you beat be to it. I got an autograph, a picture, and several minutes with her all for FREE! I was waiting ages for my group to go because she spent SO much time with the people who went in. She spoke to us as if we were old friends of hers catching up rather than just a bunch of adoring fans. It's like she ignored the fact that she was a huge popstar and spoke to us from a human to human standpoint just like how it should be. She is so sweet & genuine, she did M&G's for about 2 hours before the show and stayed until 1 am after the show, and STILL stop for fans waiting outside afterwards, even though she was already late for her flight. No doubt in my mind her M&G's are one of the best, if not the best.

Wow her and Taylor seems to have that in common for sure. I love when celebrities act like that.
