What's wrong with everyone? This was an absolutely captivating and beautiful performance. Her vocals were great, too.
What's the name of that dancer girl?

At first I was slightly annoyed at her not facing the camera but I love this song and this was a great performance Her adding this little bit of mystery to her is helping her imo. People who don't know of Sia well will be interested in who she is and look into it after a performance like this.
Whether or not it was a confidence or a statement I respect it. Let her do what she feels comfortable doing. Just a bit awkward at the end where she doesn't turn around.
It is a hard song to sing and I think she did very well.
But huge props to Maddie. People are so concerned with sias voice/not facing the camera they are ignoring Maddie. She was incredible.
All you complaining about her not singing with her face towards the camera, are you all not a fan of MUSIC? Like do we really need to see her face to appreciate how beautiful this song is?
Those high notes might have not been perfect, but there was more emotion in them compared to more perfect high pitched from from your faves
THANK YOU
I was getting raw energy and emotion from this(edit) performance. I love what she's doing. Anxiety is a very real thing and it's nice she's indirectly telling some people that you can still be amazing with it.
I think its a part of the concept of the album. "1000 forms of fear" + the song lyrics. If you read Sias explanation on the song, its rather a bad-mood song. People might feel uncomfortable watching this performance, as Sia is singing the song to the wall, and I think it was the main intetion (not hiding her face cause she doesnt want to be famous or so).
