US Presidential hopefuls Barack Obama and John McCain have each revealed their ten favourite songs to Blender magazine.

Despite claims Obama approaching Joss Stone to record a song for his election campaign, the Devon-born soul singer is absent from his list.

I'm not a big expert in this sort of stuff but it's not a brainer to see it..

Look at the titles of most song and they got this positive msg like Touch The Sky, Yes We Can etc...You get the point.
Now if you look at the artists "he picked" you'll see there are some that old pepole can relate to and some that young pepole can relate to..I can keep on going all day long...I'm not saying they are not listening to those songs, they might, but their top 10 songs were edit by experts for sure.

Obama has great taste!!

McCain....no so much.

McCain is 72, much older than Barack who is 47 so you'd expect a less comtemporary selection - most of McCain's picks are classics so don't see much wrong with his taste.

Based on John McCain's list, he shouldn't be aloud to become the President of the United States Two Abba songs Obama has a very good list, Ready or Not is an amazing song

I bet some people will actually base their vote on their musical taste. That is how sad we are... I'm starting to feel people are not voting for Obama based on liking him, but based on how much they don't like McCain.

I absolutely hate when people vote based on the party they belong to and not the best candidate. This applies to both democrats and republicans. It is like people are afraid to make a choice so they just go along with what everyone else does.

Obama and McCain are just the two "popular" people. There are plenty of people who would run the country better, but the presidential race is all about popularity here.

And yes, it still blows my mind how Bush was re-elected, but it is almost over now. In the words of the band Scars on Broadway, "Thank God, it's all about to end."
