Both pop star's discography are quite generic but who makes more generic music in your opinion?

Taylor by far. Generic country songs + generic Pop songs.
Pink is not that generic.

I wouldn't call their music generic. It's more like they just have their own style and they follow it all the time.

Yeah I don't think either are generic. Plus, people need to stop looking at the singles and their discography as a whole.

P!nk for sure. She's released the same generic pop/rock mess for a long time now, Just Give Me A Reason is the only recent song of hers that I actually like/sounds different from her other songs

They're not following some trend or doing something that has been done many times before. Besides, their lyricism is not generic at all. Sticking with your niche =/= generic.

Taylor's music is generally not generic tbh. That's why her single success is much less than her album success. Her songs are usually long, wordy and not very trendy, as seen by the single performance of [I]Speak Now[/I. Yes, she has a few generic songs, but you are talking about discographies in the OP, so, not Taylor.
