The way I see it, those kinds of fans are the kinds who a) live vicariously through her successes and b) are chart worshipers. The moment their Mother Monster stopped giving them what they needed to boost their egos (hit songs), they jumped ship, and not only did they jump ship, they felt personally attacked because Gaga chose to stop giving them the ammo they needed to brag to total strangers on the Internet.
It's sad, isn't it?
