I don't know why you guys are worried with critics review? You know the album is gold and just enjoy it. It used to be fun to keep track of these reviews before, but nowadays I can just feel how madly bias and opinionated these reviews tend to be.
I personally take this and artpop as two amazing album that are getting dragged by critic but I am self-conscious enough to know what's good music for me and I am happy with that.

well ur right. I'm not a Gaga fan but the way critics reviewed her album is a bit unfair and biased. The focus of most reviews are about Gaga herself and the stuff that is going on with her life and not on the actual music itself.
the same goes for coldplay. most reviews are more focused on the fallout between chris and gywneth rather than the songs off the album
imo their weakest is X&Y it's the only album by them I can't really listen through
I agree. X&Y is a very bland listening experience, despite some gems like "Talk", "Fix You", "Hardest Part" and "Speed of Sound".
Needless to say though, X&Y is very well produced and flawlessly mixed, more so than any of their other albums. Until Ghost Stories, which also appears to be very well mixed.
