Before 2008
2008 - 2014
They basically went from sex symbols to freaks.

Being risqué does not have as much impact anymore.
Pop gurls need to be sexy in a different way, instead of just taking off their clothes or wear provocative clothes.

They're not as sexy, tbh. They are very pretty, though, so they rely on being more fashionable. While they may not have the sex appeal of the past girls, they do have much, much nicer clothes.
