He looks late as hell trying to hop on the Pharrell sound.

But besides that the song is boring, tuneless, forgettable, lame, and uneventful so that probably plays a big part is it's flopping.

And yes I'm aware that usher had the Pharrell sound on his last album with Twisted. Which was a billion times better than this garbage.

The first problem is that it wasn't highly anticipated, specifically after L4M's underperformance. TV hasn't really done anything to increase his celebrity profile IMO.

The second problem is that it's a very unconventional song and I'm not surprised it's not totally clicking with people. I could see it becoming a radio hit on urban/rhythmic stations in the US over the summer, but still selling rather poorly. As for WW, I don't see it at all. He'll have to release something else by July.

It's showing all the signs of being another one of those urban/rhythmic hits that has really weak final sales.

Yeah I think this song is a def a grower. It might not sell well - but it should get more spins on the radio before the end of its run. Tbh I don't think it's that bad song, it
s not my favorite-but it's definitely unconventional and I like that.
