I don't really dislike the album, in fact it's my fav era of hers (videos were all on point, red hair gave us some of her best and most iconic looks, 3 consecutive #1s, amazing booklet, her best tour up until that point, and great fashion albeit not as amazing as Rated R) but outside of the singles and the flawless Skin it just feels so bland and lifeless. It's her most filler-y album for me in that regard, the other album tracks aren't bad but boring/safe/average.

Oh yeah, I forgot LTWYL wasn't a single.

It was actually a top 20 song where I live and was played on the radio all the time. I agree with you about the album tracks being on the safe side with the exception of Skin. Although I actually like Fading, it was obvious that song was only put there for filler sake. Thank God it at least keeps the tempo of the album running smoothly and doesn't bring everything to a halt like Complicated. Honestly, I think I may have only listened to that song about five times. It's just
way too basic and uninspired. They really tried to force something that wasn't there with that song.
The singles really make-up for the unfortunate tracks though. I just hate how short the album is- it was pretty much just packed with hits and didn't leave any room for more songs like Skin, or emotion packed, personal hits. The album was very mainstream driven. but hey, if she going to go super pop, Loud was the way to go!
