I was with you until the DOL shade. Drunk on God is one of her best songs. I always envisioned a video where she's running away, and in some scenes you see her crying because she's really drunk on love.
Lost In Paradise is underrated and could've been a single.

Actually I agree with everything you just said here! I don't get the hate for photographs, its honestly one of her best and its amazing. Should've been a single tbh. I love the whole Rated R era and album! Flawless from start to finish!

Photographs production sets itself apart in her discography alone. And even though it's a midtempo it still packs a punch instead of just droning on. It should've been a solo Rih song but I do understand why Will.Iam is on the song. Rated R is so cohesive and full of death. It truly captures the more serious side of Rihanna's music where she tells a Story in her music.

RS101 remains one of my all time fave songs by her. I used to love Te Amo, but sadly it hasn't really held up over the years. Wait Your Turn is another I feel deserves more praise.
My order would be:
RR>>>>>UA>>>Loud/GGGB>>>TTT>>>the other 2
Loud is easily her worst non-mixtape album; if it didn't have the singles (sans Cheers) + Skin I'd rank it below MOTS/AGLM
Skin is an era defining jam and Fading is cute. Cheers and Complicated are admittedly- the rest were singles? Unless you don't count Raining Men; which is also a really enjoyable song, in my opinion. Loud isn't my fave either, but it's a thorough pop masterpiece and everything about the era was genius. It's far more dynamic than any of her almost pre-Rated R.

Agreed! When the album first came out I literally listened to it everyday from start to finish for like 8 months. I was obsessed!
