This is very off topic but y'all need to buy Natalia Kills' album which came out last year because it's amazingly underrated and there's some bops and beautiful songs and she nearly slayed all of my faves rn

Diplo: "Paige Elliot's New Single is Huge"
From Wednesday, May 14th.
Only mere weeks after the release of her single "The Queen", it was announced by Thomas Pentz, better known by his studio name Diplo, that Elliot was releasing on a new single from an album separate from "The Queen"'s. In a shocking reveal, it was announced that the single would be released Saturday, May 17th.
"The new single is huge," said Pentz, 35, known for his work with as a part of Major Lazer, and producing for artists such as Beyoncé, Usher and M.I.A.. "The song features another artist that [...] Paige has worked with, but none of their stuff really got released, and I'm not really allowed to say who it is. The song, though, is amazing. I produced it, with a major ideas brought to the production by Paige. Like, originally, on the verses, we had a synth lead play the melody under the vocals, but Paige ran over to her piano while we were in her house," [Pictured] "and played a different melody out with it, and I thought it would be perfect. Besides the piano, though, the song's chorus is on a huge trap beat. Bridging the piano verses with the trap chorus, though, we had the featured artist say the hook, 'Do you wanna know a secret?', and we pitched it lower. [...] It's kind of an R&B stereotype, but it sounds great. Besides the pitched vocals, though, Paige sings, or says, the line right over it, and it just sounds amazing. The beat is huge, with probably the most immense subbass rhythms I've used, along with killer synths over it. My personal favorite part, though, was the first demo Paige recorded for the chorus. She went nuts over the beat, and was spitting out flows faster than we could write them down. She says she put them out as she thought of them, but I swear, she had to have practiced it before hand. Everyone in the studio was shocked by it, because it's just this small Anglo-Saxon-looking white girl putting out this extremely crazy flow. After she finished the rap there, she had to take a break for a few minutes, and then she said she hated it. [...] All of us were kind of madly shocked by it, but since it's her work, we scrapped it, and replaced it with something slower... But it's still good, and I'm glad that she's happy about it."
When asked about the direction and decisions Elliot was making with the song, Pentz gave further information on her upcoming work:
"I'm not 100% sure what she's doing, but the album that 'The Queen' was on is temporarily on hold. It's not like the album she planned before that, where everything was sexy... That one's practically permanently scrapped. It's on hold for a while, because she got overcome with the concept for this new album that the song, 'Secret', is on. I know 'Secret' is the lead single, and that it's coming out on May 17th. [...] It hits radios on the following Monday, but the premier and release is definitely on the 17th. Paige won't let me preview the actual song, but I am allowed to say that the hook is that 'Do you wanna know a secret?' line. Besides that, and what I've already said, I can't say any more about the song. It's really up to Paige, because it's her work. Her label is great with handling this, because they're letting her take control over everything unlike some labels that have zombie artists. Paige and her sister, Angel, are executive producers for the album, and she's been so proud of the work on it, because it's amazing."
The single, titled "Secret", is set for a release and premiere Saturday, May 17th, impacting radios on Monday, May 19th.

Angel, born in 1992, is Paige's younger sister. She acts as her co-manager along with the Written Without Warrant label representative manager, Carlton McGuire. She often helps Paige with her musical career, including co-writing some songs and now, being the executive producer of Paige's upcoming album. Paige considers Angel sort of like a therapist, since she helps her through everything.
The good sis is unemployed, and doesn't really do anything, even though Paige tries desperately to get Angel to break out into the celebrity scene. Angel's rather shy, and stays hidden for most of the time until now, where she's representing Paige during the conceptualizing and business decisions relating to Paige's album.
