The interview very well may have taken place, my issue is that the stories conflict. The original story was that Nene isn't worth her contract and didn't get a pickup letter sent to her for Season 7. Doesn't make sense considering Nene has been front and center for much of the drama this season, and it's the highest rated so far. And if a letter wasn't sent out, and Andy was mad at her, why would she be a housewife friend? Housewives friends don't get paid, and there would be no contract negotiations. There also wouldn't be contract negotiations because she wouldn't have one (as HW friends don't have them). Basically, the logic of the story collapses on itself once you try to make any sense of it.
And the story is too easy to disprove. Nene isn't worth her money -> This is the highest rated season. Andy is mad at Nene -> They hang out together at the upfronts (also, Andy does't produce the show, he wouldn't be involved in that decision). Nene was fired from the show/was demoted -> She was at the upfronts promoting the show, and I didn't catch any other HW friends there.
Could she really be gone?
