Movie fans don't call themselves "real movie watchers" because they have bigger TV's or better speakers.
It's only bitter gamers who use that meaningless and pathetic title.
Besides if they REALLY cared about the hardware, wouldn't they just buy a gaming PC instead?

Real in italics because that's such a silly title one puts on themselves for a hobby.

You're missing out on the whole point. The Wii U is missing out on multi platform games because it's not up to par of PS4 or XONE.
Even some 360 & PS3 games haven't been ported to the Wii U.
Just like plenty of games weren't ported to the Wii.
A real gamer will want a "box" that can play the latest games, not play some exclusives and possibly a scaled down port.
Remember a PS4/XONE game can be up to 50GB in size on a dual-layer Blu Ray disc.
A Wii U's can only support 25GB.
A PS4/XONE game also needs to install half of that onto the HDD (usually around 18GB - 25GB unless it's a small game).
A Wii U only comes with 8GB standard. (32 deluxe).
Unless they port the game to the Wii U, they cannot cross-release the standard game. Unless developers want to do that (so far barely any have) then you're missing out.
Think about it.
