With that said, it wouldn't have hurt to at least consider Matty's compromise of attempting to create a new recepits and interpreting the challenge in your own way. I know you have a clever gene up your sleeve and your better then the 3 you submited. The reciepts you posted were good points to the thread, but they were (as one of Matty's words) "boring". I will say the closest you got to clocking someone/something was your connection with the changed person. Other then that, I really wished you considered to do this challenge in your own way.

2014 might not have been the best year for you to have shuffled through to find reciepts. There was no bite or bitter realizations made with your “clocks”/”reciepts.”

These are very...you. I can't say I see much use of receipts or general clockage. It was more of your typical posts and I don't see much of a difference for the challenge. The exposure of the OP was probably your best one but even that one fell pretty short.

I really don't see them all as clockage receipts, but more like honest receipts. The only one I felt close to a 'clock' was your last example with Gaga. I'm surprised it didn't get reported from a Gaga stan
Other than that they were okay. Your blog post was funny. It reminded me if the song interpretation challenge that I use to do. I think you would have done real well with that.

I thought the way you approached this challenge was while clever in itself, but it was also the fact you probably really clocked the definition of clock that was most humorous. With the concept of revealing what the definition of clocking really was, you pretty much did these sorts of reveals throughout your receipts you posted. These receipts did appear to be smart and had quality to them. Did I wish to see what you had from back in 2011 in clocking atrlers to defend Elton John, Yes. It seemed however you were approaching the challenge in your own way which was clever in itself.

posh, ABEL, Robby and Summertime Love must be the ultimate clockers if we're taking this route. "Receipts" and "clocks" don't have to be the stereotypical practice of skull dragging with chart positions and sales over your fave artist, but I wouldn't exactly consider helpful site guiding posts as it either - even when I've been there done that myself. That OP design guide might cut it though; I actually had to bookmark that just now. BUT - you always try to come with something different, or a different approach with your entries, and I absolutely love that. Actually, not even just your entries but with all your approaches throughout the board. IMO, whether they fail or succeed is a non factor considering you have the wits and the balls to go for it anyway.

My first impression was “why is there so much explanation” and then I realized I wouldn’t have really understood most of your examples, especially the wheel example (the one that actually clocks).

It felt more like posh's entry than yours. Everything was super helpful but it all could have been in one post. Nothing was too important other than most of the population snubbing Notegod. There's a lot more you could have shown and it was a little disappointing that this was all there was. It was four examples of the same type of receipt.

I'll be honest with you, I appreciate that you were honest about not really 'clocking' anyone with receipts since you were warned for it in 2011. However, I would have much rather seen that than these examples you posted. These were more like helpful receipts, not what I was wanting to go for for this challenge knowing the nature of ATRL, but you did provide some kind of receipts.

I think your "clocks" had the potential to progress much greater then they actually did. For example with the Sharkeisha post that was clever. The Lion King Frozen comparison thread was clever and a bit humorous (not the post you earmarked). I think you have some development to do with your clocking, you appear toa have a good sense of what you need to pull out to make it happen. Other then that, your points were underwhelming for a clock but a tad bit intresting to actually read.

Albeit nothing extraordinary, you provided textbook classic receipts/clocks that hit the nail on the head so well that it seems like you have a knack for it. But given that, I wish you would've listed some that weren't done within the last four days but either way, they get the job done and are accurate.

Work on tightening up your posts. Parts of each post work while the other parts sort of lose conviction or have weak points that could be substituted for the better.

I never really trust those google image charts or whatever for receipts when people actually use them. Other than that, they were 'clocking' receipts. I feel like your best one was the Mariah Carey thread receipt. Not much else to say, I feel like the others have said it all.

You were basically reading these other members. In doing my usual background research, I think you very much improved from your entries you submitted for this particular challenge in The Biggest Loser. What you do with your "clocks" that was a highlight in giving the user key points they brought up in their posts and flipped it around by pointing out a number of examples for how wrong their post was. Also with that excessive amount of text, most people reading the thread/blog will almost find your post, but in looking deeper intro what you actually wrote, they would find a series of fact tales you read off so well. Excellent contributions to this forum (especially the blog post one). Also for some key words, it was smart, clever, and an eventful read.

Look at you! You better school us with that two minute documentary before you provide us with the receipts and submit those reads for Bey. Speaking of her, Edge was spot on about his comment earlier.

These were nice but incredibly tiring; my attention span for posts on ATRL are very minimal. They work well but just not my style.

Are you allowed to use receipts from months before this challenge? It was a good clock for the people misunderstanding feminism so I'll allow it. Wait, the other receipt is from January. WAIT, the finale receipt is from December. The **** is this? Maybe you should focus less on receipts and more on calendars. Unless of course there was no time frame, in which case...carry on.

Now it's time to see who is going home!!
4 members stand before me, but only 3 will continue on to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member.
The first member I call has been deemed best of the week and will have their name displayed in my signature until the next judging...
The best entry is...

You basically Sle'd this challenge. Those were receipts, those were clocks, and you did it without going over the top and stepping on people's toes. May have been a little too long though... especially for my tired ass after taking a stressful final.
Congratulations, you are still in the running to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member!

Like Kitt mentioned, this is basically the textbook definition of receipts/'clocking' which made it good at best. I feel like with your brand, 'creative', you could have came up with some good receipts even if they weren't from times past.
Congratulations, you are still in the running to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member!
Will Dancehall and Hugamari please step forward.
I only have one name typed out in the Burr font below and that person will be moving on to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member.
Dancehall --- Your second time in the bottom two and honestly during a challenge that I am kind of shocked to see you at. Like I said in my comments, I appreciated your honesty, but as I sat here and kept thinking... your brand is 'Candid'. This was nothing candid, but as most of the judges said, helpful. I feel like you could have done a great job on this challenge had you actually went out with that candid attitude from your branding challenge and made some receipts. You got a point years ago, you are a different member them, you know how to post and make receipts without stepping on people's toes now. I also feel like I have seen you 'clock' people before even recently.
Hugamari --- This is also your second time in the bottom, but it has been a LONG while since you have been in this position. Since the last time you were here, you have continuously gotten better and had quite a few high ranking challenges! This week it was kind of a slip and brought you on the same level/neck and neck with Dancehall here. Your receipts weren't really 'clocks' as well, but there was a little more to it. Other's found the receipts very you, and I can agree to that, I just feel like with your personality there could have been more.
So who stays?
3) DANCEHALL
AVERAGE JUDGE RANK:
2.8
TOTAL JUDGE SCORE:
39.5
AVERAGE CONTESTANT RANK:

You have done great in this competition and there is so much more to you than this challenge provided. Let's see the DQ dipped cone sweetness in the next challenge!
Congratulations, you are still in the running to becoming ATRL's Next Top Member!

I'm going to be honest, when you officially made it into the competition, I thought you weren't going to last long. You have surpassed and exceeded my expectations on how far you would have gone! I am so proud of how much you have achieved in this competition and find this elimination sad. If you keep on this track and bring it to all over ATRL, I feel like your top member will come!
THREADS: The most popular threads are the ones that provide great ATRL discussion that may cause a little flamebaiting from the responders, not the thread maker, and last for days. That is your challenge. Make a thread, can be a poll too, in either The Lounge or Base that raises an interesting question that will hopefully cause ATRL to get into a discussion. You have a deadline of Sunday night so you have time to think, make a thread, and attract the posters based on the thread (not PM them to come because of the challenge). Remember to keep in mind ATRL's rules, be creative, and the amount of viewers/replies will result in additional points ala Minaj's Challenge idea. When submitting this challenge, I want no entry, I just want the link to your thread!
EPISODE 12 | FINALE
SPEECH: What you write will not be used or seen until the final two. I'm just having you all write this and submit it now so we have this for our final deliberation. During casting we asked why you were a top member, now as you're in the final, I want you to answer this final question...
