I was at my favorite restaurant eating lunch and this hot gay sat down across from me and started staring me down. I noticed him checking me out from across the room already. We had locked eyes multiple times and held a gaze for much longer than a normal accidental glance. He was so cute, I wanted to approach him but I just couldn't gather the myself to go talk to him, plus he had headphones in. But he kept staring at each other every couple minutes until he left.

So sistren, I need some pick up lessons. If you can actually muster up the courage to approach a guy out in public, what do you say to them? How do you make it not awkward? Straights get in! I'm sure your tips could apply to gay pickups as well.

try and start a convo with something you may have in common with him. Like maybe a comment about the restaurant or what he's drinking. Something casual but appropriate.
