I think HIV infections will dramatically decrease here on forward. The only thing is you know the younger generation won't take HIV as seriously. I can also see a rise in less condom use and more outbreaks of STI's.

Herpes is the cold sore virus. All it does is cause cold sores, and nothing else. It can't kill you. 99% of the world has it.

I hope that one day that pill is offered for free. Also I hope that people who take it still use condoms.

This is prevention though, which honestly already exists if you just use protection. I can imagine a lot of younger gays will now not take HIV as serious with this, forgetting that other STI's are also transmitted through unprotected sex. The real breakthrough would be a cure.

HSV-1 and HSV-2 are virtually identical. The cold sores you get on your lips are herpes, and anyone who has them can spread them to someone else's genital area via oral sex.

Pretty much everyone has it, if you are having sex you will get it, and most people will die without ever having an outbreak.

ive always worn a condom while having anal sex (only twice) and ive given head a lot but all to the same guy. im still paranoid that somehow i could have caught HIV, im getting a test tommorow.
