Personally I think personality is way more important than looks.
I mean, when I see a hot guy/girl I react like any other normal person but when it comes to have feelings for someone, looks is not close to the top of my list.
You won't be in a realshipship with someone you don't like his/her personality and that's a known fact.
I know sometimes it helps when you see a cute person and it will probably make you want to get to know him more than a "less attractive" person but at the end of the day I will prefer to be with someone I love his personality and not looks.

Well I guess I should have add that...I won't date someone who I find repulsive but if it comes to ok looking + great personality vs hot guy with shallow personality than I'll probably go for the ok looking guy.
It's the not so good looking people who tend to have amazing personalities and vice versa. Rarely have I found both.
But that being said it's also the nice personality types that reel you in ever so slowly until you're in love and you didn't see it coming. The very attractive types fall flat after you spend some time with them and realize there's nothing there.
Not saying everyone falls under one of these though, just most.
Although personality is very important, looks have to play a part at first. Someone might have a great personality but if you think they're real ugly, you'll probably not approach them and get to know them. Through time looks will matter less and less, and personality will always be there. I would hate to have a hot girlfriend that bores me because she has no personality.
^ Well with internet taking bigger part of our lifes the looks start to matter less and less since you also meet pepole online with out seeing them first and you bond with them first and sometimes start to fall for them 'cuz of their personality...But yeah I agree with you.
But if I had a decision between a hot girl who had a great personality and a super hot girl who had none, I'd go for the first choice. Similar to what NickLacheyFan said.
Although personality is what matters most in the end, I have to find someone physically attractive in order to get to know them. But I think there could be a rare instance where I find a body part (or body parts) immensely attractive, moreso than their face, and then eventually take interest in their personality. WIN.
Looks for a bit of fun, but for a relationship you need looks and personality. I wouldn't consider myself to be completely shallow, but looks are a big factor, they're the first attraction because you can't look at someones personality.

I choose personality, because girls can look very atrtractive, but they can be bitches, so I would like soemone to look nice & to ahve a great personality
