I asked my friend this question and she told me no. But I think I do have some moments tho when I get excited.

No one gives a **** what you're attracted to. You said "That's why I'm gay, not a woman." Implying that fem gays are women. Even though you didn't make grammatical sense, but w/e MISS THAT POINT, HUNTY

Re-check the OP sis. It's sorta explained in the things I quoted, but check out the article for the full deal.

Pretty much, that comment just come across as a bit misogynist - like there was something so wrong about a man more closely associated with socially constructed and forever fluctuating ideas of femininity.

Look, I can have my opinion if I want to, and I deserve to express my opinion without some nutcase goin off on me (especially considering numerous posts previously expressed the same thig as me, just weren't as direct). Can you calm down?
What I'm saying is I'm gay, so I'm attracted to men, not women. That's obvious. I think guys who are more masculine than feminine are attractive, that's all. I still am feminine--I'm on this forum for ****'s sake--but i still dress, act, whatever masculine generally, because that is normal TO ME.
But as I already said, a gay guy can dress and talk feminine and so whatever he wants with himself. I honestly don't care! Idont think it's WRONG, just different than what I do and like.
Cool?

I probably have a gay voice, I never really thought about it. It's my voice, I need it to express myself. Like I care how gay I sound. And why would it even matter if I sound gay? I am gay, why would it be wrong if people could tell by my voice?

You are allowed to express your opinion but so are people who don't agree with it. freedom of speech doesn't mean freedom from criticism. Cool?

I did read the post and no one 'came at you' more than you came at feminine guys. They were just expressing their opinions I guess.

Bullying is completely wrong, of course. I understand that a lot of people can't help how they sound, but I CAN'T STAND when gay guys put on the whole over-the-top, feminine, dramatic way of acting, coupled with a voice that you wouldn't hear coming from a 12-year-old girl telling the best piece of gossip she has heard in months... It lives up to the stereotype of our sexuality.

how? what exactly do you constitute "self-loathing"? i'm not saying you were talking to me, i just want to know what you mean, because i don't see much of that? are you talking about the guys who wish their voice didn't sound gay? i don't think that's self-loathing. a lot of people wish there voice was lower or higher or whatever, but it's not self-loathing.
and if that's not what you were saying, then my apologies.

I will re-iterate, however, before I am attacked...
I COMPLETELY ACCEPT that there are people whose anatomy/hormones make them speak a certain way, and this cannot be helped. When I get excited I sometimes become a bit flamboyant; that is an uncontrollable behaviour that I do not consciously influence. What I dislike is people who exaggerate it and/or put it on to live up to their homosexuality.
