going to space
was a really cool moment in the game and the MV's with the
Lunar Cry
is seriously cool.
Feels really weird spoiler alerting a 15 year old game but okay.

That's actually a very interesting but wonderful way of looking at the game: it is basically two different games. The first being the development of Squall and him learning how to mingle with his peers and accept the fate of leadership bestowed upon him and ending the first cycle with Edea/Matron. The second half (disc 3 onward) is almost like the Final Fantasy XIII-2 to XIII: wacky, romantic, and interstellar. Going into space is by far my favorite part.. heading into the Ragnarok for the first time and having to clear it out with just Squall and Rinoa just gives me the shivers. Gives me Alien teas tbh.
This was something I found a couple of days ago while playing VIII that really helped shape Squall's character in my mind - especially with his relationship with Seifer. Very well worth reading!
Right now, everyone just finished their concert for Squall and Rinoa and we're getting ready for Balamb. It's still a pretty cool segment in the game so I'm looking forward for that boss fight again.
