Even sued would still be wrong because it just places past tense for him using the basketball player. Mess!!! I'm pretty sure it was Chris being sued though.
The guy threatened to sue Chris unless he paid him. Chris refused to pay, so the guy sued him. Chris is now counter-suing claiming extortion.

Actually you can't sue someone for something that actually happened. It was well known that Chris attacked people on the basketball court at Chelsea Piers and in various other places in NYC.
