What are some common stereotypes regarding your gender, race, sexuality, age, culture, religion, political party, occupation, place you live, etc. Any hateful, flamebait comments will be reported.
I'm black so a common stereotype is all black people can dance (I can't at all). I'm also American and people think we're really arrogant.
I'm Mexican, so according to stereotypes I must know how to speak Spanish and mow a lawn.
Tbh, I know its un-PC for a reason, but I think stereotypes exist for a reason. Most of the time they're based off what is portrayed by a large chunk of a certain culture. I dont think ita a bad thing tho. Off course then there is the plain stupid ones that are just racist and bigotedt, like black people being illiterate or all gays have aids.
Most people that don't know me think I'm above everyone else and that I don't mix with people that have less than I do. Didn't know this until it came to my attention.
Also since I'm from the south some people might think I'm a bigot and probably drive a truck
Since I was born in the biggest country in the world, Africa, they assume I speak African, lived in a mud hut, and rode a lion to school. Since I'm tall and black I play basketball. I apparently talk/act white. Since I'm black I'm loud. There are others, but these annoy me the most.
sometimes Asian Australians assume that I'm ignorant about Asian culture/ have no respect for it. I don't blame them at all for this stereotype since its can be very true.
for gay, definitely the promiscuous stereotype.

Never understood this stereotype. But I guess most don't make sense anyway
I'm from California, so people from other states we all know how to surf , run into celebrities everyday, and think we're the best state in the country.
I also look young for my age so people think that I'm stupid and/or need help with things I'm perfectly capable of doing on my own.
