The guy that discovered One Direction will team up with the largest Spanish-language network in the U.S., Univision, to assemble a new Latino boyband on reality singing competition "La Banda" in 2015.
La Banda will assemble the next big Latino boyband from talent pools across Mexico, Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
The winners of the show
will receive a recording contract with Sony Music Latin and Syco Music.
No judges have been announced for the program yet. Suggestions that come to mind include Paulina Rubio, and Ricky Martin (also signed to Sony Music Latin) - who was a member of Menudo.
