"As the first thing I've released to the public, I wanted the EP to capture my lyrical point of view and creative aesthetic," says Martinez. "'Carousel' is about my feeling in love with someone and being stuck on the same ride and trying to grab them but I never reach them. 'Dead To Me' is the aftermath of 'Carousel' and me trying to eliminate that person from my brain, by killing them in my mind. And 'Bittersweet Tragedy' sums up the whole relationship, which was definitely bittersweet and there were moments where I was only focusing on the sweet parts but not noticing how sour so much of it was. That is the final song, because it also sums up the whole EP."

I'm still addicted to Dollhouse and Carousel is so good. Dead to Me and Bittersweet Tragedy are really good, too. I hope Dollhouse gets sent to radio and she takes off somewhat. :']
