Like I said, overall, yes, HSM3 will, no doubt, beat Saw V.

Opening weekend, however, is NOT a lock, and anyone who actually follows the box office KNOWS this.

Senior Year students crushes Jigsaw.

Jigsaw should put these kids in a trap. Saw IV opened w/ over 30,000,000... So you never know.

Saw might beat HSM. Because that means all those TV viewers who are 12 years old have to go to their Parents bedroom Friday night and cry "Can I go see High School Musical 3 since it's not on TV anymore "

Then if they are all lucky or not lucky, the parents will reply with "Oh I'm sorry, I gotta get up early tomorrow, how about you ask your 18 year old brother."

They smile and run off with their High School Musical outfit on (Zac Efron is shirtless and pasted on the front and back with Go Wildcats labeled on it).

They enter their 18 year old brothers domain. A lot of smoking weed going on, she coughs and knocks on the door. Heavy rap music is being played. The 12 year olds waits for him to turn the music down and he opens the door. "What do you want brat."

"I want to see High School Musical 3, please, it's not on TV anymore."

He laughs evily and says, "I got better things to do, then go see a gay musical. I'm gonna go see some real material, like Saw 5. I'm going with my friends. Go ask the parents." SLAMS DOOR.



The 12 year olds cry....and lucks out til the movie hits DVD. Saw 5 wins.

There is no doubt that High School Musical will win. Overall, it will win. Opening Weekend will probably be it's biggest weekend, and more than likely will beat Saw.

Saw IV opened a little less than Saw III did, and overall, the Saw Series has gradually made less money. Saw II made the most, followed by Saw III, then IV so if V continues this trend than HSM3 will likely beat it. HSM has fans of all ages believe it or not. Obviously most of the fans are between the ages of like 8-14, but all those kids have parents. And there are single adults who watch the movies, and kids 15-21 probably watch them too. The Saw series is generally just teenagers, so who knows. If people went and paid to see High School Musicals concerts and ice shows and plays and ****, I'm sure they'll have no problem seeing the third movie.

Plus, Saw IV made almost $20 Million less than Saw III

12 year olds can drive?

no but 18 year olds can. So I'm sure they can drive them and see a different movie. It really isn't complicated.

Not to mention, I'm sure the 12 year olds are old enough to go with friends, so there is bound to be at least 1 parent or sibling in that group to drive them to a theater. Either way, Saw isn't beating HSM.

I don't know any 12 year old that would ask their parents to take them to see a movie before they would ask their friends if they wanted to see it. I started seeing movies with my friends in like 4th grade.

Don't bash HSM It's quality stuff I'm gonna see it as soon as I come back from Florida

I can actually feel HSM flopping.

The Saw franchise has been losing steem after the 2nd one and High School Musical has improved after each one, I'm thinking of seeing HSM3 over SV.
