nnnn; @ this thread getting messy. To be fair, both E3 & 5H are equally successful, but 5H is bigger in terms of hype/fan base. I think E3 got dropped mainly because Columbia has such high standards that E3 didn't match with their debut era... They did fairly well - if they were signed to Epic which isn't really known for big numbers.
And oh @ ya'll tugging on Alex & Sierra's wigs when they haven't released any new music , but they have two iTunes #1 singles which by the way are cover songs, something the other XF acts don't have
And yeah, Fifth Harmony has by far been more successful than Emblem3 has. There's always more buzz about them as well, this is all despite the fact that they're on a much smaller label.
lol you're going off of Wikipedia which referenced the numbers from last year
Do you really think that they sold more than that? They are out of the iTunes Top 100 since last year, both the song and album probably sold 1k or more leaving in fact they doesn't have a "big" fanbase, they are local and they doesn't even have a moderate hit.
Cher Lloyd's first album opened up with like 30k in the US, and she's about to release her second on the same label.
She signed a contract for two albums. I don't really know how labels work but I'm assuming they had to give her a second album regardless of the sales.
Good riddance. I remember when they ****ed up "Hey Jude" & Simon had the nerve to say it sounded better than the Beatles' version . Their "fans" were just there for their looks anyways, let's not try and act like they made amazing music/sang good.

Wait at the Alex & Sierra dragging. I stan for them AND 5H. A&S have had two #1 iTunes songs, and charted extremely well every week. They effortlessly placed 1st in voting every single week, whereas 5H fought there way into the Top 3. I think at the moment, A&S have more buzz as their debut single will be out soon.
