Beauty pageants discriminate against overweight people?
A lot of songs have these messages about people being beautiful regardless of their weight. Why then are we not seeing overweight people in beauty pageants? Do you think beauty pageants are discriminatory against overweight people? Can you sue these pageants for discrimination?

Traditional beauty pageants are really just about a very specific type of person. I'm not sure if I feel that they should be pushed to be all inclusive, because I don't think I support giving them any attention or encouraging pageants in any way.

Beauty pageants are not here to be nice or accepting of all body types. There are specific standards of what is considered beautiful and for the most part, being overweight is not deemed attractive.
Beauty pageants are about poise, discipline, confidence and grace. Obesity means lack of discipline which results to one being ugly and thus losing her confidence and composure.
