Not banned, but people should be advised to not record the whole concert. Just enjoy the show you paid for and stop trying to get the perfect picture. Most young people these days don't get this because they think they'll forget everything they haven't published online.

I understand both sides of the argument. It is very disrespectful and rude when people sit there on their phone the entire time, but I think it's fine if you take a few pictures here and there or film parts of the concert. But like, I saw P!nk last year, and I did not pull out my phone or camera once during the concert. I have a crappy phone and my seats weren't super close to the stage, so I couldn't exactly take pictures or film videos. At the very end, during the encore when she did "So What" and "Glitter in the Air", there were a few times where she flew over near me and I tried to get a picture just so I had something to remember it, and I have a few really blurry low quality pictures, but I didn't waste my time with pictures or videos. It's not worth it. A few is okay, but if you're spending your entire time on your phone, it's just rude and it defeats the purpose of going. Luckily, a lot of the artists I like release concert DVDs (especially my two faves, Adele and P!nk), so I'll never have to worry about this.
No. But I would never have my cell phone out during a concert. I might take a few pics here and there, but I'm here for the experience. If all you're doing is taking pictures, then you're missing the actual concert.
Nah. I don't have much of a problem with it. I think people who have flop phones and cameras and are still planning to post something on YouTube should stop because someone with a higher quality device will be on thaT later. But I think it's cool to share it with people and make it so people that didn't attend can see everything they missed. Alsooooo there are some that simply just want to take little pictures and share their excitement, so that shouldn't be a problem.
