As I was thinking about how G.U.Y. flopped thanks to all the Little Judases who were too damn cheap to help the good sis by purchasing a remix, it occurred to me that flopping comes with a silver lining.
Before G.U.Y. flopped, Gaga had to protect her Billboard Top 40 streak. Now that the song flopped though, I feel as though she can be a lot more experimental with her single selection. She isn't trying to keep a certain momentum up or retain some kind of winning streak--she could put out pretty much anything and just have fun with it.
Am I right here about the positive side to flopping or am I just a delusional stan?
