One of the biggest pet peeves at concerts is fans recording video from their camera or cell phone. At the end of the day you're: getting LQ footage with horrible audio; ruining concert goers experience; being disrespectful to the artist(s); and not fully taking in the show.
You go to most concerts now-a-days and all you see is this.
Should recording off cell phones and cameras be banned at concerts? Yes or No.

Camera phones have been interfering with sight lines at concerts for years. Why, it was way back in 2010 that legendary opponents of contemporary culture the Black Crowes took an aesthetic stand against the usage of such technology, banning cameras at their own shows.
Over the last year everyone from Jack White to Yeah Yeah Yeahs to Prince to Savages to Bjork have “politely” demanded that their fans have some respect, and instead of taking pictures, just enjoy the show. Today, Gawker reported on another indie act, She & Him, laying down such guidelines. Per a flyer posted at last week’s Toronto Urban Roots Fest:

At the request of Matt & Zooey, we ask that people not use their cell phones to take pictures and video, but instead enjoy the show they have put together in 3D.
no, there just recording their experience. It would be different if all artists recorded their tours and released a DVD of the tour when the tour is over. But most artist don't do that.
Yes I understand a picture or two but people who have it up the entire time recording those videos are going to sound like **** so why bother. And you are missing out on actually being there by wasting your time trying to record a good video
Edit: pretty much everything in the OP now that I have read it
i mean maybe cute vines or insta videos but people who constantly use their phone piss me off when i go to concerts i dont even take pics i just enjoy it and just ask my friends for pics
I'm fine with cellphone recordings, but not ipad or freaking laptops during concerts. Don't ruin someone's experience by trying to capture the concert.
As long as they are not breaking any rules then I don't see why they should be "banned". They bought tickets to the show and if they want to spend it recording LQ videos instead of enjoying the moment that's on them.
It's not one of my pet peeves. It always says on tha tickets no cameras/video. And i never have aproblem smackin that **** oout of someone's hand when im boppin. I came here to see tha artist, not your phone. So if you lose it in tha crowd cuz im goin craze, then you should have kept it in your damn pocket. Deal
