People actually jumped ship because of the SXSW performance?
Not here. But I think it did help drive away a small fraction of the GP. Ironically, one small subtweet and one accidental favorite leads to more breakdowns and ship jumpers than Gaga being puked on live. Reverse Warholian Experience indeed.
I was on a Bjork forum and someone actually said they lost respect for her because of it. Of all places a BJORK fan
It was pretty vile an unnecessary, though. I certainly wasn't a fan.
The only songs I really use from ARTPOP are Venus, G.U.Y., Do What U Want, Swine, Donatella, Mary Jane Holland, Gypsy and Applause. Some of the others are okay, and then some of the others are really bad.
Swine has definitely become my favorite song on ARTPOP despite the hate it gets. I just really like EDM breakdowns, and the chorus is so awesome. Love the way she just belts it out!
Yes! Swine is easily my favourite song on ARTPOP too.
Alejandro just doesn't get old for me, its definitely one of my favorite Gaga songs ever.
Can we talk about how it sounds even better with the extra strings they add to it live?
Especially the last chorus.
Alejandro is RedOne's best production tbh.

I know people call her pretentious but I think that was one thing where it actually worked as a performance piece. I can see why people disliked it but it pretty cool and interesting to me tbh. Basically saying that the pop world has thrown up on her, disgraced her, and now she is finally going to have her revenge and do things her way and march on regardless.
Of course - things didn't turn out well afterwords anyways, but I do respect her for it.

Yeah. Swine is actually one of my favorite songs by her live. The energy is just eclectic and raw, as as the interaction with the audience. You can tell it is very cathartic for whatever happened to her in the past. A highlight.

I'd be more interested in Gaga as a featured act for Iggy tbh. I like Iggy's sound and I'm not entirely sure how much I trust Gaga in that department just yet.
I definitely think Gaga needs to do more collaborations with other artists/producers/writers. She needs to give a little control and let others help improve her work. She is wildly talented but it wouldn't hurt to let others share their artistry with her.
I love that Gaga is a performance artist tbh. Insane how she started out as a songwriter and grew to be the Mother Monster we've all grown to love and tease. It's always exciting whenever you hear she is going to perform.. you wonder how she is going to perform and what she will do? It's a bit sad that she has had to strip down the antics this past year and a half but it was still good. The Dope performance at the YouTube Music Awards was probably the hugest shock she's ever had and it is by far her most simplest. Love, love, love.
Also. Sorry. I'm a little tipsy and just feel like I should compliment ha after I drug her through the mud today.
