Since 2008, Gaga has been saying Madge is one of her biggest influences. She even thanked her by name in the TFM booklet. Copying a fellow contemporary isn't really on the same level as paying homage to the greats... I'm not saying that condones her stupid twitter f-up, but Gaga has been pretty honest about being super inspired by Madonna, Bowie, MJ, Prince, etc.

I think her tweet was in line with what you're saying too. The fave'd tweet is more in line with her Nicki "shade" on LM.com. She actually liked a picture that showed her and Nicki in similar outfits with Gagas pic having an earlier year than Nicki's. This isn't entirely brand new.

Katy probably did say that, I don't follow much about her so I don't really know. The green hair, no real issue. The horse, okay it's similar but fits the theme for her Dark Horse song. The neon liquid puking video, even if she filmed it pre-SXSW Gaga performance, I'm genuinely surprised she didn't pull it. That comparison is a bit much. Gaga would be torn apart if it were the other way around.
