I'm not sure if I agree with Tabloid Dream but the rest is completely true. Katy really isn't in the tabloids as much as some other popstars imo.
Katy has evolved despite what some people think. Her changes haven't been drastic, which is smart because it doesn't alienate large portions of her fanbase.
She still has to have some impact and memorable performances and Major tours with some great Gross's and some good critical acclaim , she's FAR from owning that title
Prismatic tour is selling out and her album sales are great actually, especially in this day and age. She's looking at soon two 2x platinum albums in a row in the US alone, her sales WW are strong as well.
Her tour is only selling out in one market and her album sales are horrible for having the hits she does. Bey wiped her out with ease.
The reigning Queen of Pop is Madonna. And "intelligent song choices" is the one and only reason why Katy Perry is around. She doesn't provide anything else.
