You do realize bolding and increasing the size of your text does not add any substance to your argument.
So people are disregarding TD's success/iconic value based on "local" sales? What more value does a song/album have if it smashes in some small country as opposed to the US?
Oh and please do remove that monsterkat from your title. Your true colors are showing.
Not TD, its singles !!
You KatyCats first say "California Gurls, ET, Wide Awake etc" are more popular than any TFM song and when we show you receipts which prove most of them were pretty local, you start saying "How can you say Teenage Dream (album) was local" or "TD was not a flop"
The US is not the only English-speaking country in the world
Like 90% of its sales come from English-speaking countries while it flopped in the rest of the world, all of which is true
Only CG and FW were global, the rest were unknown flops outside the Anglosphere
Whereas TFM and ALL of its singles smashed in every part of the world
The US is not the only English-speaking country in the world
90% of its sales come from English-speaking countries while it flopped in the rest of the world, all of which is true

Lol. It's actually the monsters fuming in here. And the fact that you have to point it out says much about the fumes inside you
1.) KatyCat created this thread, not Monsters. And we all know the reason behind it.
2.) you spend the last hour arguing, if an EP is more iconic than your fave's album that was re-released. The fact that YOU have to point that out says a lot about which album is REALLY iconic.
I mean
SALES : TFM in most of the countires
CRITICAL ACCLAIM : TFM - everywhere, not just Grammys & Metacritic
TOUR - TFM, $227M the biggest debut tour of all time, lasted for 1 and a half year, there was a high demand.
SINGLES : In 2010, Bad Romance & Telephone outsold every TD single WW.
