While studying at Syracuse AND Washington State University, I took several psychology classes (a side interest of mine). Drawing from my education, I have to conclude that these gay young men idolize these random floozies because they want to be them. White boi twinques look at girls like Lana del Rey and Iggy Azealia and want to have long hair to play with just like them. It's really that simple.

Well, psychologists are often wrong about things so you taking psychology classes does little to validate this. I am sure it is true of some though, after all idolization is usually about wanting to be like someone. That doesn't explain why it's mostly gay men though.
Because you like pop doesn't necessarily means you're gay. Same goes for people who listen to rock music, it doesn't mean that they are straight. lol It's like gay people in general, some are very easy to tell but for others you can't even tell if they don't tell you that the person is gay.
Honestly this is like the dumbest thread and OP I've read in a long time. Like literally seek education. ATRL is a small minority of pop-girl obsessed gay guys, girls and a few quirky straights that for whatever reason enjoy the gay commotion we all stir up. Incase you've forgotten male popstars (and you can rule them out by their genre or for whatever reason) exist and whether or not there's plenty of straights that like them too, they just don't obsess in such a bizarre way as us.

Tell 'em!
Straights can like pop girls too. We can be quirky too and we can like arguing with other fanbases. It's no gay or girl only thing
