As we all know, Beyonce has always claimed to endorse feminism and gender equality with songs like single Ladies, Run the world and more recently her brilliantly thought out essay about the subject. However, some of her actions seem to negate all this activism. For example, she called her tour the Mrs. Carter show, she called herself King B implying the superiority of a king over a queen, and finally trashed all of her female colleagues in "Bow Down".

So the question asks itself here: Is Beyonce really a feminist? Ponder on the subject and don't flamebait please.

Besides about Bow Down - feminism doesn't mean that you have to love all the women in the world and always be nice, it means you want women treated equally, be loved by others and for them to love themselves.
I don't understand this: oh how is she a feminist if she trashed other pop girls - no one likes everyone deal with it.
