It's a common misconception that diet affects your skin on a level that is large enough to cause intense acne. According to every dermatologist I went to as a teen, acne isn't affected by diet.
I was on Accutane when I was younger and it ****ed up my liver. I had to have half of it removed. It still worked, though.
actually it does affect acne, not directly but indirectly - lots of research has gone into this
I rarely get huge zits on my face, and if I do, it's always on my lower chin area. The most area I get it is on my back! I hate it! But it's better than having them on my face where it's visible. I use Clean and Clear 123 step and so far it's working. I used it on my chest area and now my chest is clear! It took a month. So that's 30 days, morning and nights. The only thing I have are acne scars on my back and face. Right now I'm using Cocoanut Butter, hopefully that works
Whenever I start to break out I drink a lot of water and it cleanses your skin I think. Like I literally force myself to drink water and it disappears after a few days.
I have acne, I use Clearasil but that **** is obviously not working. I hate it
Ask your doctor/dermatologist for Benzoyl Peroxide, and make sure you get a good face moisturizer if you do! It dries you out but it works wonders.
Also, you could try using it with Retin-A micro and your face will be flaw free in months time. Retin A helps your skin regenerate faster, keeping you looking fresh

Benzoyl Peroxide made my skin worse I don't know why. Accutane has solved my problems
I used to have a bad acne problem but I have it under control now. This is what I use:
St. Ives Green Tea Scrub (use when u shower after u wake up and again before u go to bed. Let it sit on your face for a minute or 2 before rinsing off)
Oxy Daily Wash (also use in the shower and let it sit for 1-2 mins)
Oil cleansing pads (use whenever your face feels greasy)
When I was younger I had moderate acne. I would try to lay out in the sun to dry it up, and although it would help, it didn't completely get rid of it. Face wash dried my skin out too much and lotions made me break out even more. I went to the doctor and he prescribed me to an antibiotic called minocycline. Literally completely cleared up my acne. If you have mild break outs, or one or two occasionally, an oral antibiotic is problem not the best solution. If you have moderate to severe acne, I would ask your doctor about it. It did wonders for my skin
It's a problem because my skin (more so the face) is oily and I produce a lot comedones (I think they're called?) except they're really tiny, like having grains of sand spread all over my body, I get them on my back and upper arms, I hardly ever get bad pimples but it happens from time to time. I may start taking some medication I've been prescribed but honestly eating less fats (no chocolate, candies, mayonnaise, coke, etc) doesn't seem to make a difference.
It still worked, though.
