First I feel really depressed and now I have a massive cut on my big toe. Something up in the heavens has it out for today or something.

Looking for jobs sucks in general. I only REALLY started applying in earnest a couple days ago, and already stressed out because I have not had any calls.

You should call up the employer tbh. You can't expect them to contact you most of the time.

Just ask for the manager, and ask if they've seen your application. It shows that you're interested

I have a job, and am not currently desperate. So I am taking the easy road for the time being

I do in the long run. My crappy job now won't pay for **** once my student loans start kicking in

I am just torn. If I don't find a teaching job do I settle for the job I have now? or try for a mid level job in an unrelated field?

Teaching? Thats cool. For the longest time I wanted to be a History teacher. I still would like to, but its just not in the cards for me.

That is true! - when I have to hire people I like to see they show interest. Those are the ones that we're most likely to call back and if they qualify for the job.
