Top. In my little experience sleeping in bunk beds, the times I slept in the bottom bed I'd always be afraid the top bed would fall over me

When I went to summer camp I always slept on the top bunk because I was always scared if I slept on the bottom and the person in the top bunk had a bladder issue I'd wake up with pee on me.

Always top because I'm scared it might crush me if I'm bottom.
But I can see the appeal of bottom, it must be so snug and cosy.
