Yesterday, Wu-Tang Clan previewed their forthcoming album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin, the one-of-a-kind record that was recorded secretly and won't be made commercially available. (It'll be manufactured as a single copy and tour through museums and galleries before being sold to the highest bidder.) The short clip of music featured Ghostface Killah and a voice that sounded like a whole lot like Cher.
A representative for Cher has confirmed the collaboration to Rolling Stone, noting that she contributed vocals to two of the album's songs. "She recorded her parts separately, so I don't believe there was direct interaction," the rep said.
Yesterday, I saw ths thread and I thought about going in and ramling about how Cher Lloyd is NOT CHER (my all-time hero and fave). I decided to let it go.
NOW I read online that it is indeed CHER?! Just wow. She's just such a legend.
