I agree with you guys but you know how Mariah is. She's really fickle, even more now, especially having all the power and control with this release.
Mariah should just release a new track to keep the buzz going for the album release and probably use it as a single if it does well. But we know that this is not happening.
We only have 2 weeks and a bit left until the release, so i'm ok with not getting anything until then. Who knows maybe she will stream it on iTunes the week before?
Oh gosh the days are REALLY dragging, I can't wait for the snippets any longer...even a 16 sec snippet of each song or of "One Try" alone will hold me until the album's release...Thankfully the album is being released on the 23rd of May in some countries outside the US, so we'll get to hear the songs before I go out and buy the album on the 27th..!!!

I hope the songs are so good that it all goes viral. Similar to how that guitar rift on #B swamped the internet.
I blame Island Def Jam 100% for this bs. She was ready to drop the album and they clearly stepped in and put the brakes on it because they didn't believe in her. If she had her way we would have the album already.

Obviously, this is on a course to be a major flop and to be ridiculed by many.
I reckon she'll debut within 65-80k range, hopefully top 5, top 10 at the worst. Globally it will probably fail to even chart, it'll struggle for top 40 UK i reckon.
it's kind of deserving cause she and her team are doing absoulutely everything to destroy the era they've been doing it for a long time. I guess no promo at all would be better cause no promo could be used as an excuse for flopping.

I'm VERY disappointed in her and her team. if she doesn't care then she should at least appreciate the facts that her fans DO CARE and find charts very important and love to brag about her chart success. She had basically everything to make another successful era: huge tv show, hit single that was loved by public and critics, yet she blew everything away. And now she's releasing the album with no single. And it's not some sort of a strategy, the thing is there is no strategy at all.
