I was having this debate with someone else earlier who believed in open relationships.. They claimed it was people like me who are "holding back humanity" ah no bae! It's people like you who make humanity worse off.
I wouldn't go that far, I mean no one's relationship really ever has any effect beyond those directly involved but open relationships probably aren't ideal. It's a bit of a "wanting to have your cake and eat it too" situation. You can't have it all.
I have an open relationship. He can go out and go clubbing, make out with someone else and I don't mind. Our relationship is more of a bromance. If he wants to sleep with someone else, he'd have to discuss it with me and I'd have to approve, but it hasn't happened yet.
I'm not gonna judge other peoples relationships. If you want to have a open relationship with your partner then go ahead. Idk if I would ever have one, but I'm totally ok with it
I personally can never be in an open relationship because I'm too jealous and I'd only ever have sex with someone I truly love. Others who have views that sex /=/ love and are comfortable with the situation by all means have the right to be happy and be in an open relationship if that's what they want.
Morality issues aside, open relationships is a major health risk, so no thanks. I would love to do it bareback with my long-term boyfriend without fear and worry.
Personally I find open relationships are a huge no and I couldn't ever in my life be with someone else rather than my current boyfriend. I also find it hypocritical if a gay couple want to fight for equal rights and gay marriage when they also believe in open relationships.

This is my opinion though & I would never actually protest against it or anything. I just personally find it wrong
