IMO the pop fan base is going to kill pop music eventually, music has never been this competitive.

With the constant hate and wars we have for #'s, why would ANY pop star in the future release anything risky? So if it fails they can get harassed by an army of pop music listeners right?

WE are suppressing pop music. Tired of hearing Pitbull/Flo rida etc.. on the radio? Accept pop music as a whole and don't mock the flops but instead congratulate them and there efforts.

Because they are insecure and pathetic and they live through their faves careers. I don't think you can just blame stans for the state of the industry though.

That's how the pop game works. If anything, mocking and ridiculing flops helps to keep the artists on their toes like they should be. There's no excuse for an established artist to bring out average music and flop with it when there are so many aspiring artists unsigned.

For one thing music is subjective, it's not easy for an artist to know if people will like and buy their music. Anyway some don't care that much about commercial success and critics. For another you are basically saying that only the most successful music is good and everything else is just average or bad.

It's not easy to make really successful music over and over again because of all the factors involved. No artist shouldn't have to put up with these kinds of ridiculous stan standards.

Because mocking is easy when you can still praise good music tbh
