For men I really mostly enjoy tenors. With women I like all vocal parts, but those high notes get me.

None of female singers today are contraltos. It doesn't matter how low they can go. It has nothing to do with range. It has to do with how dark or light the voice is. I repeat again: if you can tell that it's a female voice, it's not a contralto.

Aaliyah isn't just some light voice singer...She has a great lower range and has a richness to her voice, if you watch her love performances she sings in a lower key sometimes.
