I like Lotus, the production is not the best, but aside from some songs it's a good album, it's more friendly listening than bionic.

The only thing I want for Christina's next album are a great album, four videos and a tour. If we get more than this awesome.

Lol, I actually love it too. Not my fave by her, but it's definitely a great pop album. I don't have expectations of it slaying me like her other masterpieces so I just enjoy the music. What disappoints me is the ballads. I do like them and listen, but none actually make me feel anything. Just me personally.
I wish the album would get more praise though, it's actually quite good. And probably one of her most cohesive albums.

I agree the ballads do feel a bit empty, and I do like Light Up the Sky. Why did YB not peak higher? No promotion? I didn't stan on check Billboard or anything that era, so I wouldnt know.

Same. Around The World is the only track I don't use. Sing For Me has kind of grown on me with time, but it's the definition of over singing.

Agreed! I like the tribal-like production on a lot of the Alex Da Kid songs, but it's definitely too loud/messy on Light Up The Sky.

It's so unfortunate how lq it sounds in the choruses of Circles and Cease Fire. Kinda like what was going on in Stronger Than Ever.
Lotus was just a weak album overall, but enjoyable for the first several tracks + Around the World.
