Yasss I got all 4 taken out at once slayyy, It was the best experience of my life. My family waited on me hand and foot and I was high as a kite. the only bad part was the syrienge or whatever that sucks the food out of your gums and i looked like a chipmunk. other than that it was flawless,
The first time was good! Second experience was not so good.
The dentist/assistant didn't numb me well enough at first and yeah so that sucked
And when I got home I forgot I even had medicine I was supposed to take. My mom was away, so she couldn't really remind me but omfg it was horrible. I was light headed, dizzy and felt like I was going to faint or die or something
That experience was traumatizing and is the reason I have yet to go back to get the other two removed
Mine are impacted because of my small mouth and my dentist says they don't need to be removed so....
God damn it I really have a tiny jaw. When they were making a mold of my teeth they had to use the kid sized ones and the worst thing is that they didn't have anymore boy ones so my mold was in pink
Yeah mine went well cuz I was on drugs. It was the most euphoric out of body experience I have ever had. I was in the stars, man. Thought I died but it was all ok cuz it was so peaceful and bliss. Time went fast too, I felt them do each corner and it took about 4 seconds... One second for each tooth lol. It was like a massage for my gums.
Just got mine out a few days ago. I got all 4 out first time. I was not sedated at all, just given local anesthetic so I was scared since I was fully awake for it. It seriously didnt even hurt at all. I was so scared and when it was out and they told me I had no clue, its just a lot of pulling and pressure you feel. The pain afterwards just make sure you take your pain meds when needed, and make sure you dont get dry socket
Got all four taken out at once. It wasn't that bad. I was put under while it happened. My mouth hurt for like a week and I had to take some pills to numb the pain. Had to eat like pudding and stuff for a week or so.
I had 4. They weren't causing any problems yet but I was about to get invisalign braces and they said it would be better to just remove them since I would be cutting it close with space.
My dentist forwarded me to a dental surgeon. I opted for general anesthesia. I think it's more expensive, especially since it must be done in a hospital but ... whatever. Bless you Canada/standard work benefits, I didn't pay a dime.
I went to the hospital on my scheduled appt day, got knocked out, woke up in the post-op room with some lady screaming beside me. It felt like I had just woken up from the world's best sleep ever - but it had only been 45 minutes. My mouth felt like it had a lot of saliva in it so I asked the nurse for something to spit in (it was blood). I had researched beforehand so much that it didn't surprise me. You're so numb still that you really can't tell, so make sure you keep spitting it all out. My sister had no idea and the surgeon skipped over that fine detail, so when she got hers done she ended up just swallowing all of that "spit" and ended up throwing up all over herself a little while later.
Went home, ate nothing but soup/jello/sauce for a while while on some awesome painkillers. No pop or coffee either, you don't want to dissolve the stitches early. Had two appointments to check the healing progress after the removal. Sleeping sitting up and changing gauze all the time sucked. The painkillers made me zone out sooo badly, I couldn't function. Chipmunk cheeks too, ugh. I took a week off school, but since I went right before March Break I got 2 weeks of relaxation time. Which is good... because about a week after, I got a yellow bruise on my cheek and it looked so nasty. I thought it would show up faster, I was surprised. I didn't want to have to go to school like that lol. I kept chewing with the front of my mouth for like a month out of habit.
and yeah so that sucked
my whole left side of my mouth is like useless
