And don't tell me otherwise because I'm pretty sure MLD once said that he'd be interested to listen to a cover.
And yeah, I actually agree that Counting Stars is the greater song. But it's gonna win anyway and I just wanted to vote for LHG simply because it's much closer to me. Anyway, I just noticed this is the finale and I couldn't have asked for a better one

But part of being able to enjoy a song is being able to enjoy a singer's voice. I've actually grown to somewhat like Let Her Go since some of the most legendary people that influenced music weren't that good of singers (like Bob Dylan for example). So the only part of Let Her Go that makes me cringe now is the acapella part.
The lyrics and instrumental are good, but you need to have all three ingredients in order to like a song.
Here are some other examples from hits of last year:
Just Give Me a Reason - cringeworthy vocals from both P!nk and Nate, but lyrics aren't bad and the instrumental is cute
Stay - Rihanna and Mikky sound nice, the piano is lovely, but the lyrics are a mess and make no sense.
G.U.Y. - Good instrumental but terrible lyrics and annoying vocals.
Applause - Good instrumental and good vocals, but absolutely messy production with no proper balance.
You see what I mean?
